5-4 side by side unit buildings with varied architecture

6 units have flat garage roofs and 2nd story porches causing additional expense not experienced by the other 14. How would you handle as we currently maintain studs out.

I would handle it according to what it says in the governing documents (Declaration or master deed.) It will all be there spelled out.

As Freddie has stated, it should be spelled out in your governing documents. But it could be vague, like all major expenses (repair and replacement) are paid by the association, shared by all.  That's what we do. A couple of buildings have additions with flat roofs and one side of the street has many trees in the rear that reqire extra maintenance. But it is all 1 association so the cost comes from our budget.
